The film, television & Commercial industry
needs greater diversity

Let’s dismantle the systemic exclusion that has blocked access for BIPOC and transgender crew members.

the TFP directory

to connect production teams with qualified BIPOC and transgender existing and Future union members

TFP welcomes below the line BIPOC and transgender individuals seeking employment in the film, television and commercial industry to voluntarily submit their profile and join our DIRECTORY.

Currently, we are welcoming members at all levels of experience across the art, camera, costume, makeup and hair departments.

Our community is built on trust and we so happy you have chosen The Film Path.

the PA PROGRAM

production assistant (pA) is the entry level position in each department and a valued team member

We are here to offer support and guidance on your career journey.

For newcomers, the hiring process and on-set environment can be challenging to navigate. To create a more positive experience and constructive working environment, we encourage open lines of communication with TFP mentors.

For TFP mentors and department heads, we ask you to open your crew by taking on an additional PA and devote intentional energy to training.

The start/stop nature of production schedules doesn't need to be a roadblock for people committed to their craft. Our directory is a tool to connect members with opportunities to keep them working.
